There's still one more week until payday And my funds are already running low. I hate to sound cliche But where did my money go? The mortgage company, the electric company and the rest Are draining my bank account dry. I swear, if I get one more bill in the mail, I'm going to break down and cry. Like mosquitoes, they keep poking at me Trying to make me bleed. Don't these people realize I have a family of four and two cats to feed? Image courtesy of Pixabay My savings account? That's empty. That money has already been spent. My tax return? Don't make me laugh. Let's just say the government found a way to keep each and every cent. The cavalry isn't coming. They must have gotten lost. I could ask for a pay raise. But, I've already gone down THAT road with my boss. So I guess the only thing that's left to do. Is stretch my budget and suck it up when it comes to my money woes. I found a nest outside my office this morning. Don't worry, I was very careful not to disturb it (though I may have to put a flag up by it to keep the lawnmower away). But, I did get a photo quick.

My parents found a 4-day-old rabbit in their back yard a couple days ago. At first, they figured the mother was still around. However, their neighbor found the nest and discovered all of its brothers/sisters were dead. So, assuming the mother either abandoned them or was killed, they took it in. Of course, none of us knows how to take care of a rabbit that young and knew, even though we could get it to eat formula, it probably wasn't going to survive. So, my wife called up the Wildlife in Need Center in Oconomowoc and we drove it down there. Image courtesy of Cynthia Helmer It was 100 miles round trip and there's still no guarantee the little guy (or girl) will survive. But, I think it was worth it because at least now it'll have a fighting chance.

I actually went out for a walk earlier this morning but didn't find a whole lot to take photos of. Fortunately, my lunch walk a few hours later was a little more productive. Here are some of the photos I was able to take:
