Movie Review: Spiders (2000)

Image
Synopsis: A NASA experiment involving spider DNA goes horribly wrong and results in the experiment returning to Earth and producing spiders that are extremely poisonous and use human bodies to reproduce. Making them even more dangerous is the fact they grow larger with each new generation, putting everyone around them in harm’s way as they grow as large as humans and even buildings. Who's in it?   The movie stars  Lana Parilla ,  Josh Green ,  Nick Swarts ,  Mark Totty ,  Jonathan Breck  and  Simona Williams . Lunchtime Walk Photos 8/16/2018

So, I made a small mistake today. I wasn't planning on going for a walk at lunch because it looked like it would rain. However, the sun came out and I decided to go after all. Since the walk wasn't in my original plan, I didn't bother charging my camera battery. But, I thought there would be enough juice left in it so I didn't worry too much about it. As it turns out, the battery was lower than I thought it was and, as a result of that, I ended up missing a couple photos because I had to turn it off to preserve what battery life it had left. Despite that, I did manage to get a few photos today. Here are some of them:

It's still kind of wet out but I decided to squeeze in a walk before going to the office this morning. Because of the humidity, I had to contend with my camera lens fogging up. But, I did manage to get some photos of the numerous spider webs around the park.

Morning Walk Photos 5/16/2018

I didn't go too far into the park this morning because the morning dew can soak through hiking boots a lot faster than the mud puddles will and I didn't want to have wet socks all day. There weren't many signs of life out yet. But, I did see a couple birds and this is the time of year when the dew-covered spider webs start showing up. Here are some of the photos I did manage to take:

I decided to risk wet socks (and spider webs) and walk through the park this morning rather than just alongside the lake. It was pretty quiet overall. Other than some bird chirping from behind some trees, there wasn't much in terms of signs of life. Despite this, I still managed to get a few photos.

More Spider Webs

I went through another pair of socks on my morning walk this morning (lots and lots of dew). Plus, I made the mistake of walking down the wrong trail and also came into the office with wet pant legs as a result. There wasn't much in terms of life at the park this morning. The temps were a little on the cool side and I think most of the critters stayed hidden as a result. But, there were, once again, plenty of spider webs around the park so I grabbed some photos of those.

Strange Web

I saw this web while on my walk this morning and decided to grab a photo of it. I'm not sure if it was spun by a spider or if it belongs to some other kind of bug, such as a gypsy moth.

Spider Webs

I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with spider webs when I go on my morning walks. I tend to walk into a lot of them, making me feel as though I have something crawling on me all day. But, when the dew catches them just right, they look gorgeous. What makes them even more amazing is the realization the spiders spun the webs overnight and will have to start over again tonight. I took the time to take some photos of them this morning:
