Review: My wife and I re-watched the movie Terrifier a couple nights ago and decided we wanted to finally see the sequel, which was available on Peacock. While I admittedly had some doubts about Terrifier 2, despite enjoying the first film, it did end up being better than expected. Much like the first movie, this film seemed to be more about gore than actual scares. However, it was one of the few times when I felt like it worked. Art the Clown (Thornton) brings a good mix of creepiness and entertainment and, unlike way too many movies in this genre, the film does a good job of keeping his origin story a mystery, something that makes him unpredictable.
