We are in the "fake spring" period of February with temperatures in the 40s and 50s. I decided to put one of my trail cameras out yesterday as a result, setting it on my patio table, facing one of my bird feeders. As has often been the case, I didn't see a whole lot of birds eating out of it. However, the neighborhood squirrels continue to be big fan. I managed to get a couple photos as a result. I've had my trail cameras out the last few nights with surprisingly very little activity. As a result of that, I decided to change things up a bit and put one near one of my bird feeders again (I recently began filling them again) before placing one outside our window yesterday evening as well.  I ended up having quite a bit of success. Here is a selection of the many photos I got.

 I was caught a bit off guard by a thunderstorm this morning and wound up recovering my trail cameras in the rain while keeping an eye on the lightning as it got closer. At least the cameras had photos on them from yesterday evening, last night and early this morning, making it a little bit worthwhile. Here are some of the photos:

There was quite a bit of activity in my backyard last night, with the camera being tripped multiple times but not always catching what activated the sensors. However, I did manage to get a few videos. Here are some of them:
