I was finally able to get out to the park with my camera for the first time this spring and the trails, while a bit muddy in some spots, were OK enough for me to get through without having to bypass anything. Here are some of my photos.

After a couple days of cold/windy weather, it warmed up just enough to justify a walk in the park today. I didn't see anything too unusual. But, the geese are coming back in large numbers, almost completely covering one of the ponds and there was a pair of ducks hanging out on the ice as well so I did get a few photos as a result.

I decided to go for an early-morning walk before coming into the office today. I ended up needing to change my socks because of the dew (good thing I brought an extra pair with me) and walked into about a dozen spider webs but managed to see some signs of life. This included this red-winged blackbird munching down on a bug it had caught.
