Squirrels Better Beware
I kept hearing this hawk in the morning but could never find it. Saw it yesterday morning as it was perched on one of the wires outside my house. Could be why the squirrels haven't been in the bird feeder lately.

Bird of Prey
It was a beautiful out when I went for my walk today and I couldn't figure out why I wasn't seen much activity in the park. Then I happened to see this guy (or girl) flying overhead. Could be why everything was hiding.
MacKenzie Environmental Center Photos
It's been a few years since we last took our daughters to the MacKenzie Environmental Center in Poynette, WI. So long, my youngest daughter doesn't even remember her last visit. So, we ended up going up there today. After visiting their wildlife exhibit, which is made up mostly of animals that were either injured or rescued from people who tried to domesticate them (meaning they can't go back out in the wild), we checked out the logging and environmental museums as well as a frog-filled pond before having some sandwiches and heading home.
