My wife and I finally had a Doctor Who binge watch the past couple days and are now caught up on the series and said our goodbyes to Ncuti Gatwa as the title character/Doctor 15. While I am intrigued at the possible return of Billie Pipe r as Doctor 16, it is clear to see why another season isn't necessarily guaranteed. I am, without a doubt, among those who think the show's quality has gone downhill since Disney's acquisition and am not convinced Billie Piper's return isn't anything more than a desperate attempt to save a sinking ship. So, if there is another season, I would like to offer some suggestions: First, bring back the favorites. Look, I'm all for throwback episodes that revive lesser-known characters from 30-40 years ago. However, not everyone watching this show is a diehard fan. Synopsis: While attending a 19th Century British ball, the Doctor ( Ncuti Gatwa ) and Ruby Sunday ( Millie Gibson ) must confront a group of alien shapeshifters, known as the Chuldur, who are killing off and impersonating guests as part of a Bridgerton cosplay. Helping the Doctor is a bounty hunter by the name of Rogue ( Jonathan Groff ), who also becomes a love interest for the time traveler. The main plot is a little confusing because the cosplay alien idea doesn't make a ton of sense if you think too much about it. I would assume the Chuldur aren't time travelers because, if that was a common alien technology, the Doctor wouldn't be anything special. Synopsis: The Doctor (David Tennant) and Rose (Billie Piper) visit a hospital on New Earth and discover the cat-like nuns are able to cure every disease thanks to a research lab using artificially grown humans. To make matters worse, Cassandra (Zoe Wanamaker) is hiding in the hospital basement and takes possession of Rose's body.
