Fright Night Versus The Lost Boys, Which is the Better 80s Vampire Movie?

 I love vampire movies and while most of my favorites were made before I was born, two of them were from my 1980s childhood, Fright Night (1985) and The Lost Boys (1987). Today, for reasons I can’t even begin to explain, I asked myself “which is the better of the two?” So, I decided to do an analysis based on five categories:   Category 1 – The cast. I think the thing that stands out for me most when I think of The Lost Boys is the list of actors that could be considered who’s who of the 80s and 90s. There are the “two Coreys” Corey Haim and Corey Feldman . Joining them are Kiefer Sutherland and Alex Winter with Jason Patric and Dianne Wiest having significant roles. Fright Night also has some recognizable names, like Chris Sarandon , Roddy McDowall and William Ragsdale . However, as far as star power goes, I think they are simply outnumbered. Movie Review: A Tale of Two Coreys (2018)

Synopsis: In the 1980s, child stars Corey Feldman and Corey Haim quickly rise to be among some of the most famous actors in Hollywood and become close friends in the process. However, when they aren't filming movies, their careers and lives are on the verge of a downward spiral from partying, drugs and child molesters. Who's in it? The movie stars Elijah Marcano , Justin Ellings , Scott Bosely , Casey Leach , Paula Lindberg and Patrick Muldoon . Review: My wife recorded this made-for-TV movie when it aired earlier this week, mostly because she was a fan of the two Coreys when she was younger. I had some doubts about the film (let's just say I'm not as big of a fan as she is) but ended up watching it with her last night. While not great by any means, I did have to admit the movie was better than I was expecting.
