I fell in love with the show Community a couple years ago and wound-up binge watching the series even though the first two seasons were arguably the best and the show started going downhill not long after that. After recently learning about a possible movie based on the series, I decided to take the time to watch it again. My opinion was largely the same overall, but I also realized there were some characters that I loved while others I realized weren't as likable as I remembered. The three best characters: Pierce Hawthorne ( Chevy Chase ): I know there are others who won't share this opinion but that's part of why he's on this list. To tell you the truth, I didn't like him all that much at first either but of the characters, he probably has the most depth. On the surface, he's an aging racist and homophobe who has dated ideas and opinions. Synopsis:  An alien ( Alan Tudyk ) crashes on Earth and assumes the identity of a doctor he kills outside a small town in Colorado. He intends to remain secluded until he can find his spacecraft and the doomsday weapon it contains. However, when the town's only other doctor is murdered, he is forced to interact with the residents. Adding to his woes is a young boy who can see through his disguise and knows his secret. Review:  When my wife and I first saw previews for this show, I wasn't really sure what to think about it. It looked somewhat interesting but, at the same time, was one of those shows that might not live up to its potential. We are now three episodes into the series and it has become one of our favorites. One of the things that got me hooked was the uniqueness of the series. Uniqueness is something that is always going to score points with me and, while this isn't the first series to feature an alien posing as a human, it certainly is the first one I remember ...

So far, I'm a bit undecided about it. The premise, at least from the previews, looked interesting and it definitely has some recognizable names on its cast list. But, after watching the premiere, I admittedly wasn't as impressed as I thought I was going to be. In fact, I think I might have already solved the mystery behind her seemingly-random killing. My theory (and, so far, the show seems to be backing this up) is her victim raped her several years earlier, back when he was in college and playing for a band. Since Cora ( Jessica Biel ) was raised by a strict religious family, she felt guilty over the rape and it ultimately became a repressed memory (and is likely the reason she needs pills to sleep). Then, when she heard his song, it triggered just enough of that memory to make her think he was trying to rape someone else. I came up with this theory about 2 minutes after the stabbing so, ultimately, I think my overall opinion of the show is going to come down to whether...
