Movie Review: Free Guy (2021)
Synopsis: Guy enjoys everything about his life as a bank teller in Free City, blissfully unaware he is actually a nonplayer character (NPC) in a popular video game. When an encounter with one of the city's sunglass-wearing "heroes," opens up a whole new world for him, it puts all of Free City in danger from a game programmer determined to hide stolen code that resulted in successful artificial intelligence. Review: My wife and I were pretty tired out after an overnight trip for a final college tour for our daughter. As a result of that, I was a bit reluctant to watch a movie with her last night and wound up picking out this movie figuring we could always stop it halfway through and finish it later.
