Synopsis: Growing frustrated with the way kids incarcerated at the Kilpatrick Detention Center in Los Angeles return to their gangs soon after being released, Sean Porter forms a football team, the Mustangs, as a way to teach them responsibility and discipline. Despite some early success, the team's season is put in jeopardy when the gangs strike at one of their games. Who's in it? The movie stars Dwayne Johnson , Xzibit , L. Scott Caldwell , Kevin Dunn and Jade Scott Yorker. Review: My wife is having an afternoon out with her brother so while having some lunch, I looked for a movie to watch without here. It had been a while since I last saw Gridiron Gang and I couldn't find much else on, so I gave it another try. While I remember not enjoying this movie all that much when I first watched it, it turned out to be better than I remembered. My first impression of this movie is it was a bit like The Longest Yard , but with kids. That impression didn't change much, even ...

In 2017, Brady takes his team to another Super Bowl and Lou, believing her cancer might have returned, decides to secretly buy four tickets, pretending she won them in a contest, and go with her friends. The 80-year-old women discover the adventure of a lifetime, especially when they learn the tickets aren't real. Who's in it? The movie stars Lily Tomlin , Sally Field , Jane Fonda , Rita Moreno and Tom Brady . Review: My wife was interested in seeing this movie when she first learned about it so, when I came across it on Paramount Plus, I made sure to add it to the list. We ended up watching it yesterday afternoon and I'll admit it was better than I expected. There are some things about this movie that are a bit predictable. For example, as soon as the "responsible one," Betty (Fields), was put in ch...

Synopsis: Harry Lynn, a talented but dimwitted semi-professional football player from a small town in Montana, is recruited to play for the Chicago Packers. He proves to be the real deal and has his team on the fast track for a national championship. However, his love life and a $5000 gambling debt threaten to derail him. Who's in it? The movie stars Bert Wheeler , Marie Wilson , Gloria Dickson , William Hopper and William Demarest . Synopsis: I came across this movie a couple days ago and, thinking it might be good for laugh or two, decided to watch it this morning before heading into the office. The movie, as it turns out, ended up exceeding my expectations. The love story between Harry (Wheeler) and his girlfriend, Maizie (Wilson), was actually pretty good, especially since it wasn't as predictable as I thought it would be. The part about him temporarily falling for another woman (Dickson) in Maizie's absence and nearly bringing an end to their relationship with an a...
