Synopsis: Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), based in Louisville, is one of the last remnants of the old territory days of professional wrestling and the only independent promotion with a weekly live television show. However, despite having a stable of talented wrestlers and intriguing storylines written by former wrestling star Al Snow, the promotion is struggling financially and unless things can be turned around, may be forced to close its doors. Review: I saw previews for this Netflix docuseries and thought it seemed interesting. As a casual pro wrestling fan, especially classic matches from the territory days, I found a behind-the-scenes show about an independent promotion intriguing. I finished watching the first seven episodes and it exceeded my expectations. Synopsis: The cowardly Boov are always on the run from their mortal enemy, the Gorg, and move from one planet to another in an attempt to hide from them. This time, they have chosen to hide on Earth and, after re-locating Earth's entire human population to Australia, they claim the planet as their own. However, when a friend-less Boov named Oh attempts to invite people to his house warming party, he inadvertently sends the invite to the Gorg as well. With the help of a young human, Tip, who avoided being relocated but is now searching for her mother, the now-fugitive Oh escapes the angry mob with the promise of helping her find her family.
