Synopsis: Lawyers Dana and Mark are happily married and celebrating their seventh anniversary when their respective firms assign them to litigate a divorce between a celebrity reality television couple, Brett and Tabby Noble. While they agree to work together to settle things quickly and as amicably as possible, their clients' refusal to compromise threatens to damage their own marriage. Who's in it? The movie stars Lacey Chabert , Brennan Elliott , Stephanie Bennett , Clayton James and Mariesa Crouse . Review: As I've mentioned before, my wife and I are big fans of Lacey Chabert Hallmark movies and when I saw this new one was coming out, I was sure to record it. We watched it this evening and it unfortunately missed the mark for us. The premise isn't a bad one, especially since there is a bit of a mystery surrounding Gwen (Crouse) the woman Brett (James) is supposedly cheating with and Tabby's (Bennett) former best friend and assistant and what secret she was ...

Emily is unhappy with the relocation and even sends Santa a letter asking him for a way to move back to Los Angeles. However, when one of Kristin ex-classmates, now a music teacher, steps in, he changes their lives for the better. Who's in it? The movie stars Lacey Chabert , Fina Strazza , Brennan Elliott , Kathy Najimy and Mariah Carey. Review: Due to some parenting responsibilities, my wife and I weren't able to watch a holiday movie on Wednesday and, because of that, were quick to find one to watch yesterday evening in an effort to make up for that. I've had this one in the library for a while and, thinking it sounded somewhat interesting, picked it out. It ended up being a good choice. The thing that surprised me most about this film is it wasn't as predictable as I was expecting it to be. A ...

Movie Review: Dirty Teacher (2013)

Synopsis: Hoping for scholarship money to help her go to college, high school senior, Jamie Hall, becomes increasingly frustrated with her new teacher, Molly Matson, who seems to be purposely giving her poor grades. When Jamie catches her boyfriend, Danny, cheating with Ms. Matson, it sends things in a downward spiral that results in Danny's death and Jamie being accused of murder. Who's in it? The movie stars Josie Davis , Kelcie Stranahan , Cameron Deane Stewart , Brennan Elliott and Darlene Vogel . Review: When I picked out this movie on VUDU last night, I mostly did it because the description made me believe it would help my wife overcome the absence of new Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episodes. It wound up being pretty much what I expected it to be, a film with an OK premise but not-so-great execution. There were a couple things about this movie that I really didn't enjoy. The main one is, even though the movie is supposedly based on a true story,...

Later that night, her mother dies as the result of an apparent suicide and, when her sister arrives with her family for the funeral, she gives the doll to her 6-year-old niece. However, before too long, Nina begins to suspect the doll, Chucky, may not be what he appears to be. Who's in it? The movie stars Fiona Dourif , Danielle Bisutti , Brennan Elliott , Maitland McConnell , Summer H. Howell and Brad Dourif . Review: Even though I liked the first two Child's Play movies, I'm not a huge fan of the later sequels and, as a result of that, wasn't overly interested in seeing this film. However, my wife and I wanted to watch a movie together last night and, since this happened to be on Netflix, I decided to give it a try. As it turns out, it was actually a surprisingly good movie. While not quite as ...
