Movie Review: Glass (2019)

Synopsis: After superhuman David Dunn, now known as the Overseer, tracks down Kevin Wendall Crumb, aka the Horde, and frees the teenagers Crumb has kidnapped, the two men battle it out but are soon both captured by a team led by Dr. Ellie Staple, who institutionalizes the men in the same facility currently holding supervillain Elijah Price, who now calls himself Mr. Glass. Dr. Staple tells the men their powers aren't real and instead are the result of delusions created by a brain condition she believes she can surgically correct. Glass, however, suspects they are being lied to and works out an escape plan that will also expose the truth. Who's in it? The movie stars Samuel L. Synopsis: Three teenage girls are abducted and imprisoned by a man with 23 diagnosed personalities. They need to find a way to escape before his 24th personality, which is referred to as "the Beast" finds a way to make an appearance. Who's in it? The movie stars James McAvoy , Anya Taylor-Joy , Haley Lu Richardson , Jessica Sula and Betty Buckley . Synopsis:  Two brothers, Mario and Luigi, are trying to start their own plumbing business despite everyone, including their father, telling them it is a mistake. While attempting to prove themselves by fixing a Brooklyn plumbing disaster, they are pulled into a mysterious pipe and are separated. Mario lands in the Mushroom Kingdom, ruled by Princess Peach and in danger of being conquered by the evil Bowser, who also has Luigi as a prisoner. Mario wants to help the princess stop Bowser so he can be reunited with his brother but finds his small size and lack of fighting skills are an obstacle. Who's in it? Synopsis: Ellie, an aspiring fashion designer attending school in London, has a 6th sense that allows her to sometimes see her deceased mother. Bullied by the other women in her dorm, Ellie decides to rent a room from the elderly Ms. Collins and, while sleeping, begins to have visions of Sandy, a singer and former tenant from the 1960s. Inspired by Sandy's seemingly glamorous life, Ellie changes her appearance to look like her and uses Sandy as her inspiration when designing her clothes. However, as her visions continue, she realizes Sandy's life wasn't what it first seemed and, as the apparitions seem to follow her throughout London, she becomes convinced Sandy was murdered and her killer is still out there.
