My wife had what she referred to as a "wet" photoshoot yesterday. Basically, it consisted of her wearing several outfits, all white but made from different material, into a swimming pool and being photographed after she got the fabric wet and transparent. I did get some behind-the-scenes shots, but most aren't suitable to post on here so, instead, I'll share some photos I took of her with my phone prior to her getting into the water. The smoke coming into Wisconsin from Canada has been bad, but I promised my daughter I'd take her to the beach as part of her birthday, so I drove the family to North Beach in Port Washington during a short window when the air was reasonably breathable. While there, my wife and I ended up having an impromptu photoshoot while the birthday girl played in Lake Michigan and her sister sat on a blanket drawing in her sketchbook. This proved to be a challenge because there was enough of a haze to make the lighting unpredictable and a bit like shooting photos through the glass of a window (and my editing skills are far from expert level). However, I still managed to get a few that even she liked. My wife was invited to participate in a photoshoot at Bradford Beach in Milwaukee yesterday evening, which includes being included in a swimsuit calendar put out by the photographer each year (I believe she negotiated being featured on her birth month of August). I, as always, went along as her chauffeur and assistant and was able to snap some photos of her myself. This one was a bit challenging for me from a photography standpoint. In addition to staying out of the way and not always being in a position that had the best angle, lighting, etc., there were times when it seemed as though Milwaukee's entire 550K+ population decided to go to the beach yesterday, meaning I also had to avoid people walking in front of me on a constant basis (and don't even get me started about the parking). My wife also wasn't a fan of the latter, or the fact it was kind of a short photoshoot, especially considering how long it took us to drive there. I did, however, still manage to get some dece...

My wife took an extended break from modeling but is attempting to get back into it after taking the past 8 months off. I went along as her chaperone/chauffer and, mostly to keep myself occupied for the three-hour-long shoot, took some behind-the-scenes shots with my camera. It was a Valentine's Day-themed shoot and got a bit steamy. I kept my photos in the PG/PG-13 category though. Here are some of them. It has been quite a while since my wife's last photoshoot, with some being scheduled but then cancelled. She had an opportunity to work with multiple photographers at the Retzer Nature Center in Waukesha yesterday though, for a goth/steampunk/cosplay shoot and in addition to serving as her chauffer, I tagged along with her for part of it, getting some more behind-the-scenes shots with my phone . My youngest daughter was also there doing some modeling as well and I got a few behind-the-scenes photos with her too. However, being a dad, I won't share those.  My wife had a photoshoot at a car show yesterday that turned out to be a bit of a bust, both because she was misled about getting paid and the photographer's camera stopped working. Since she looked pretty darned good, I convinced her to supplement the few photos that were taken by doing a short photoshoot in the backyard. Here are some of the photos I got.
