There's a chance for storms this afternoon and evening, but the weather was decent enough at lunch for me to get a walk in with my camera.

Kwik Trip Kitchen Cravings Tailgater Pizza

  When my wife and I decided on pizza for dinner last night, I stopped at Kwik Trip with the intention of just buying a cheap, frozen, cheese pizza for our daughters since we already had another pizza in our freezer. However, as I was walking up to the checkout counter, this particular pizza caught my eye and, even though I wasn't crazy about spending $8.99 when I already had another option at home, I was intrigued enough to make the purchase anyway. We ended up making the pizza in the oven when I got home. After trying it, I have to say it is one of my favorites. One of the things, in particular, that really stood out for me when it came to this pizza was the toppings. The combination of sausage and cheese curds was both unique and delicious, especially since the curds were fresh enough to still squeak when we were eating them. Behind the Scenes at a "Country" Photoshoot

My wife and I were up early this morning because she had another photoshoot, this one "country" themed. Fortunately, we didn't have far to drive this time around because we met the photographer at the Danville Dam and then Astico Park Bridge, both about a 20-minute drive, and we were able to make it back home before the storms hit. As I've done with previous shoots, I stood out of the way and got some of my own photos, experimenting a bit and taking some in black-and-white. Here are some of the photos. Professor Proton - The Big Bang Theory Spinoff that Should Have Happened

After being off the air for seven years, The Big Bang Theory will be getting a spin-off series that isn't a prequel and will be centered around characters from the original series, albeit not the main cast members. I haven't decided if I am going to watch Stuart Fails to Save the Universe because, not unlike TBBT's Sheldon Cooper ( Jim Parsons ), I do have to consider if it will be worth the time commitment. Plus, while the plot does sound intriguing, I'm not convinced it wouldn't have been better as a movie rather than a television series. One thing the new show does do for me, however, is remind me of the missed opportunity for another TBBT spinoff that probably wasn't even considered but, if done correctly, could have been a success, at least in my opinion.
