Ucloveria Sectional Sofa Review
The couch I purchased several years ago was starting to fall apart to the point it was no longer comfortable so, since we had bulk pickup coming anyway, my wife and I decided to replace it. After reviewing dozens of options in various price ranges, we ended up ordering a Ucloveria Sectional Sofa through Amazon. We've had it for about a day and so far, it seems like a good decision.
The sofa has several features our previous couch didn't have, which we found we liked. The chaise side of the couch has a built-in storage container that will be perfect for blankets while the other side of the couch pulls out to form a bed. This is something I'll likely get use out of since I tend to snore when I have a cold and usually end up sleeping on the couch in those situations to avoid keeping my wife awake. The USB port on one side is also a nice touch because it'll give me a spot to charge my phone or other devices while I'm watching TV.
Another thing we like about this couch is it is easy to detach the sections if we were to ever need to move it. That was something we certainly could have used when trying to get that other couch out of the house yesterday morning, a project that took three people and left a gash both in the floor and the sidewalk outside.
Comfort-wise, I have no complaints. We didn't realize the cushions were vacuum-packed and would take 3-4 days to expand but, even with them not fully expanded, it was reasonably comfortable, and I would expect that to improve even more.
Assembly was a little more complicated than some described on the Amazon page. It wasn't all that difficult, other than putting in the pull-out part, which was a little confusing and there were a couple holes that seemed a bit too large for the screws (fortunately, it was nothing that had any impact on getting it assembled), but there are a lot of pieces and a lot of steps. It took most of the day to assemble it.
Delivery was also fast. We got the couch within a few days and a lot sooner than expected. The only issue with the delivery was we received the wrong color (we ordered dark grey because of the cats but received beige). However, since we didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it, the company gave us a partial refund when we let them know.
Final Opinion: I had some doubts about ordering a couch online versus buying one I had an opportunity to try out at the store first. However, this turned out to be a good purchase that was more affordable than the local options and we're happy with.
My Grade: A
