Supporting a Good Cause Today

I'll be spending a good chunk of my afternoon at the Beaver Dam Family Center today as it holds its annual fundraiser for People Against a Violent Environment (our local battered spouse shelter).

Santa Claus will be stopping by the rink from 3:00-4:30 to skate with the kids and, afterwards, the Swan City Ice Skaters will hold their annual Christmas exhibition. This always ends up being fun for everyone and usually results in dozens of food items being donated to PAVE.

I manage to avoid using an air conditioner until this past weekend, when the temps were in the 90s, it was extremely humid and very uncomfortable. However, after digging our portable air conditioner out of the shed and getting it going, we discovered it developed a leak over the winter. Movie Review: Flight of the Living Dead (2007)

Synopsis: A group of scientists smuggle a woman infected with a reanimating virus onboard a plane from Los Angeles to Paris. Strong turbulence results in her being freed and she soon begins spreading the virus, turning passengers and crew into zombies.  Who's in it? Review: I was in the mood for a movie last night and after some searching, came across Flight of the Living Dead on Amazon Prime Video. It had been a while since my wife and I watched a zombie movie so; after scrolling through a few more options, we decided to give it a try. I didn't have a whole lot of expectations for this film.
