There is a possibility for storms tonight and tomorrow morning, so I probably won't put my trail cameras out. I did, however, place one outside last night and once again had quite a bit of activity from our usual guests. Here are some of the videos:

Synopsis: When the United States enters World War I, sculptor Rocky Thorne has no interest in enlisting but changes his mind when his fiancée, Nancy, volunteers as a Red Cross nurse and belittles him for his cowardice. Rocky becomes a fighter pilot and quickly becomes an ace, ultimately shooting down 42 planes. However, his success at killing people changes the once pacifistic Rocky, threatening his future with Nancy. Who's in it? The movie stars Richard Dix , Elizabeth Allan , Ralph Bellamy , Theodore Newton and Frank Conroy . Review: I wasn't sure what to expect when I picked Ace of Aces for my movie this morning. While the description made the movie seem interesting, I was afraid it would turn out to be yet another cut-and-paste war film and nothing overly memorable. As it turns out, it ended up being a fantastic choice. Most movies from this genre tend to focus on the heroism and patriotism part of war and if there's anything related to the dark side of combat, it...

The temps cooled down a bit yesterday but since it wasn't expected to rain, I decided to put one of my trail cameras out to see what it picked up. There wasn't a lot of variety, but I did wind up with quite a few videos. This included an action scene involving an opossum and a stray cat. Don't worry, neither got hurt.

Synopsis: A vehicle accident and explosion cause a tunnel connecting New York and New Jersey underneath the Hudson River to collapse, trapping people inside with a fire and toxic chemicals. With few options because of the unstable condition of the tunnel, New York's recently fired Emergency Medical Services chief, Kit Latura, volunteers to enter through an air vent and try to find a way to guide the survivors to safety. This proves to a be a near-impossible task, especially when those above ground decide to start the cleanup process even though it would mean killing anyone left inside. Who's in it? The movie stars Sylvester Stallone , Amy Brenneman , Viggo Mortensen , Karen Young and Stan Shaw . Review: After spending several minutes trying to pick a movie to watch last night, I decided to go with something familiar and selected Daylight . It's a film I had seen before but not for some time and my wife couldn't remember if she had ever watched it. After viewing it a...

Synopsis: After having a breakdown on Mother's Day, hardworking stay-at-home mom Allyson Field decides to have a night out with her friends Izzy and Sondra, something her husband, Sean, encourages. However, things don't go quite as planned for Allyson after her dinner reservations are mixed up and her sister's baby gets misplaced, leading to an adventure that results in the women getting thrown in jail. Meanwhile, Sean and the other fathers are facing challenges of their own with their kids. Who's in it? The movie stars Sarah Drew , Sean Astin , Patricia Heaton , Trace Adkins and Abbie Cobb . Review: I came across Moms' Night Out on one of our movie channels last night and since it seemed like the kind of movie my wife might like, we ended up watching it. At first, I wasn't sure what I'd think of it but it turned out to be an enjoyable film. I think there are things in this movie just about any parent (mom or dad) can relate to when it comes to raising...

He is rescued by a mute woman who doesn’t understand English and makes his way to a house, where he discovers four other people who also have no memory of who they are or what has happened to them. To make matters worse, they seem to be surrounded by a group of crazy and violent people, forcing them to reluctantly work together even though there is evidence one of them might be a murderer. Who's in it?  The movie stars Sharlto Copley , Josie Ho , Erin Richards , Joseph Morgan , Max Wrottesley and Thomas Kretschmann . You can read my review here:  Movie Review: Open Grave (2013)

Synopsis: After learning his fiancée has been cheating on him, Danny Maccabee ends the engagement at the alter and soon after, discovers his wedding ring, coupled with a story about an unhappy marriage, is a great way to pick up women. Years later, Danny, now a successful plastic surgeon, continues to use this technique and ends up meeting Palmer Dodge. When Palmer insists on meeting his fictional estranged wife before continuing their relationship, he recruits his assistant, Katherine Murphy, to play the role, along with her two children, a ruse that ultimately results in the five of them taking a Hawaiian vacation. Who's in it?  The movie stars Adam Sandler , Jennifer Aniston , Brooklyn Decker , Nicole Kidman , Griffin Gluck and Bailee Madison. Review: Even though I do like Jennifer Aniston and have enjoyed some Adam Sandler movies in the past, including when he starred with Aniston in Murder Mystery , I never found myself interested in seeing Just Go with It . However, my wife...
