 My wife and I spent another Saturday night doing karaoke, mostly because we were waiting for our youngest daughter to get done with theater rehearsals (which went until almost midnight). I got my song selection out of the way early, starting out with my go-to, Every Rose Has Its Thorn by Poison. Then, as part of a game we were playing, I performed one from the year I was born, Some Kind of Wonderful by Grand Funk Railroad and one from the year I graduated high school, Someday I'll be Saturday Night by Bon Jovi.  I let my wife take the rest of my turns on stage and, while sitting in the front row, managed to snap some photos of her performing. Review: My wife and I re-watched the movie Terrifier a couple nights ago and decided we wanted to finally see the sequel, which was available on Peacock. While I admittedly had some doubts about Terrifier 2, despite enjoying the first film, it did end up being better than expected. Much like the first movie, this film seemed to be more about gore than actual scares. However, it was one of the few times when I felt like it worked. Art the Clown (Thornton) brings a good mix of creepiness and entertainment and, unlike way too many movies in this genre, the film does a good job of keeping his origin story a mystery, something that makes him unpredictable. I haven't been seeing too much on my lunchtime walks, mostly because things are starting to get a bit overgrown at the park. However, I came across this turtle hanging out on one of the trails and getting sun.

Since our daughters were at theater/work and we had a few hours to ourselves yesterday evening, my wife and I had a mini date that included a fish fry and a walk by the lake.
