Lunchtime Walk Photos (6/2/2025)

Image
There is talk of bad storms again tomorrow, so I made sure to get out for a walk with my camera today, while the weather was nice. I didn't see a ton on the walk but did get some photos, including one of a baby turtle, which unfortunately scurried away before I could place something down (like a quarter) to show how small it was in comparison. Anyway, here are some of those photos:

Movie Review: World Without End (1956)

Synopsis: A 1957 spaceflight is thrown off course and its crew are rendered unconscious. When the spacecraft crash lands, the crewmembers discover they have managed to reach a fast enough velocity to break the time barrier, and they are on Earth 551 years in the future, where nuclear war has left the surface inhabited by mutants and the remaining humans are hiding underground. Who's in it? The movie stars Hugh Marlowe , Nancy Gates , Rod Taylor , Lisa Montell and Nelson Leigh . Review: After spending the weekend watching several movies I've seen a dozen times before, I scrolled through my movie library and picked out one that has been there for some time, World Without End . However, while driving home from a Costco run in Sun Prairie, I noticed the speed enforcement signs up on the highway and since I've been known to have a bit of a lead foot, decided it would be a good excuse to give the cruise control feature another try. After two failed attempts, I figured out how to get it to work and used it for the last half of the drive. My opinion is a bit mixed. It was nice not to worry about getting pulled over because my foot got a little heavy on the accelerator. At the same time, ...

Trail Camera Photos (5/31/2025-6/1/2025)

We had some of the best Wisconsin weather yesterday we've had in a long while, so I decided it would be a good night to put out one of my trail cameras again. The activity wasn't quite as extensive as I was expecting, but I did still manage to get some photos. Here are some of them:
