Trail Camera Squirrel Photos (11/16/2024)

I need to replace the batteries in my trail camera again (probably with rechargeable batteries this time around) because the night-time photos lack any real quality. However, I did manage to get some early morning photos of some of the squirrels in the backyard. Here is a selection:

Trail Camera Photos (10/11/2026-10/12/2026)

I decided to start placing one of my trail cameras in my front yard after taking some garbage out Friday night and hearing something growling at me from the lilac bush near the front door. My first trial run on Saturday didn't work out so well because I had the camera in the wrong spot but last night's effort following an adjustment seems to have paid off.  Here are some of the photos: _____________________________________________________________________ Here are some of my previous trail camera photos: Trail Camera Photos (9/26/2026-9/27/2026) Trail Camera Photos (7/23/2026-7/24/2026) Trail Camera Photos (7/25/2026-7/26/2026) Trail Camera Photos (7/30/2026-7/31/2026)

I skipped a couple nights but decided to put one of my trail cameras in the yard last night just to see if there was still as much activity (the cats haven't been as interested in looking out the window at night). As it turns out, there was quite a bit happening during the night and early morning hours with visits that included everything from opossums to stray cats.  Here are some of the photos: _________________________________________________________________________ Here are some previous trail camera photos and videos: Trail Camera Videos (1/3/2026-1/4/2026) Trail Camera Photos (11/10/2024-11/12/2024) Trail Camera Videos (10/13/2024-10/14/2024) Trail Camera Photos (4/7/2025-4/8/2025)

Drawing a Blank (A Poem)

My brain is all befuddled. Every time I have a thought, it's pulled away with a yank. I want to be productive. I want to be creative. Instead, I'm drawing a blank. Image courtesy of Arya_W via Pixabay Maybe it's old age. Maybe it's stress. Who knows, it could be an old brain injury Coming back to haunt me by leaving my head all a mess. All I know is putting thoughts into actions or words Is becoming a bit like navigating through a China shop while driving a tank. No matter what the explanation is, My mind keeps drawing a blank. _________________________________________________ If you liked this, here are some of my other poems: Join the Circus (A Poem) Artificial Intelligence (A Poem) In the Way (A Poem) The Day Dad Made the House Dark (A Poem)
