Movie Review: Multiplicity (1996)

Synopsis: An overworked construction worker is given the opportunity to clone himself, so he has more time to spend with his family. However, while the clones do succeed in making his life a little easier at first, his plan ultimately backfires and, instead of winning points with his family, his wife leaves him, and he ends up losing his job.

Who's in it? The movie stars Michael Keaton, Andie MacDowell, Zack Duhame, Harris Yulin and Eugene Levy.

Synopsis: A meteorite crashes onto the island and, when its cosmic rays cause everything around it to age at a rapid pace, the castaways must find a way to destroy it before it kills them. My Thoughts: What happened to the island's underground gases?  When a World War II mine landed on the island, the Professor ( Russell Johnson ) insisted the mine would set off a chain reaction if it exploded because of the gas chambers. Yet that meteorite had a much larger explosion when it hit, and nothing happened. Wow, the Skipper ( Alan Hale, Jr ) sure didn't know a whole lot about meteorites. Book Review: The Lady from the Black Lagoon by Mallory O'Meara (2019)

Synopsis: Milicent Patrick lived a full life in Hollywood. She worked in the animation department for Walt Disney, spent some time working as a model and, most famously, helped design the Gill Man costume for Creature from the Black Lagoon . However, because of her gender, most of her accomplishments, including that last one, have been erased from history and/or claimed by men. In this non-fiction biography, the author chases down Milicent's lost legacy and helps her reclaim credit for her work. Review: I love classic monster movies, but I am almost equally a fan of the history surrounding a lot of those classic films. Movie Review: The Boy Who Cried Werewolf (1973)

Synopsis: Richie Bridgestone and his divorced father, Robert, spend a father/son weekend at their secluded mountain cabin. While taking a moonlight stroll, they are attacked by a werewolf. Robert manages to kill the creature but is bitten and, the next time they go to their cabin, turns into a werewolf himself. Richie witnesses this but nobody believes him. Who's in it?
