Feeling a Bit Like Happy Gilmore Today

Specifically, Happy Gilmore after he got hit by that car.


I had hoped to avoid this crud, which my wife has had for about a week now and both of my kids also caught. But, unfortunately, that didn't end up being the case. But, I have too much to do to be sick at the moment and am not a big fan of cold medicines (or the reactions I wind up having to them) so I'm toughing it out and letting it run its course. I'm just hoping I feel better on Saturday morning, when I'm running a booth at the local youth expo.

  When my wife and I decided on pizza for dinner last night, I stopped at Kwik Trip with the intention of just buying a cheap, frozen, cheese pizza for our daughters since we already had another pizza in our freezer. However, as I was walking up to the checkout counter, this particular pizza caught my eye and, even though I wasn't crazy about spending $8.99 when I already had another option at home, I was intrigued enough to make the purchase anyway. Synopsis: Three years after saving the world in Summerville, Oklahoma, Callie Spengler, her two children, Trevor and Phoebe, and her boyfriend, Gary, have relocated to New York City resurrected the Ghostbusting business her father helped found in the 1980s, much to the chagrin of NYC mayor and long-time Ghostbuster antagonist Walter Peck.
