Movie Review: Indiscretion (2016)

Synopsis: Dr. Veronica Simon has spent a great deal of effort being the perfect politician's wife, even pushing aside her own political aspirations in support of her husband despite rumors he is having an affair. When he and their daughter are out of town, Veronica, feeling neglected, winds up having a weekend fling with a mentally-ill local artist, Victor, who develops an obsession with her and begins stalking her and her family.

Synopsis:  During a medical exam following a car accident, doctors determine a 4th-grader ( Jennette McCurdy ) has been sexually molested. She eventually gives SVU detectives a name and other victims come forward, but evidence emerges pointing to false accusations being made. Review: It's extremely cold outside today so I find myself sitting on the couch watching re-runs of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit with my wife. This one came on a little while ago and impacted me a lot more than expected. On the surface, there isn't really much about this episode that sets it apart from others in the series. However, Jennette McCurdy's performance really stands out. Her fear of naming the man who abused her seemed very real and I couldn't help but feel heartbroken as they tried to navigate through that fear to get the truth. Kwik Trip Kitchen Cravings Tailgater Pizza

  When my wife and I decided on pizza for dinner last night, I stopped at Kwik Trip with the intention of just buying a cheap, frozen, cheese pizza for our daughters since we already had another pizza in our freezer. However, as I was walking up to the checkout counter, this particular pizza caught my eye and, even though I wasn't crazy about spending $8.99 when I already had another option at home, I was intrigued enough to make the purchase anyway. We ended up making the pizza in the oven when I got home. After trying it, I have to say it is one of my favorites. One of the things, in particular, that really stood out for me when it came to this pizza was the toppings. The combination of sausage and cheese curds was both unique and delicious, especially since the curds were fresh enough to still squeak when we were eating them. Tremors (1990): Five Reasons Why the Graboids are the Ultimate Horror Movie Monster

My wife wasn't feeling well last night (breathed in too much dust while cleaning) so I wound up watching a re-run of the movie Tremors, or at least part of the film since it was halfway over by the time I found it.  While the movie has too many comical characters for me to be able to consider it a real horror film, I have concluded the film's monsters, the Graboids, may be one of the best horror movie monsters ever invented, especially if you ignore the sequels that added somewhat ridiculous traits that diminished them a bit. Here are five reasons why they excel in the horror movie monster status: There is a great deal of mystery surrounding them.
